Hi
So I manage to grad a copy this copy of Grandia. The game looks great, and plays great, but as you may know is in japanese. The thing is, I don't speak japanese, but I manage to find a website with the translated dialogs. But I still need to understand the names from items and spells. Does anyone know where I can find some kind of list with those translated ?
Thanks

Do what I did, play both versions side by side for as long as possible before you get sick of playing the same RPG twice.

For added fun, play the Japanese version first, then move to the English version to find out what the characters are saying!

See if you can find a PS1 guide. It'll cover the basics or pick up the PS1 version as mentioned.
I've played through both without knowing japanese.
I did this with Lunar. I played through the JP Saturn with a PS1 guide before I played the PS1 version.

Synbiosfan is right. Grab a playstaion guide. I believe I got mine from IGN. It told me all about the spells and the general things you need to know. You need a playstaion to play this. Just find the PS1 guide. You have the translation storyboard so your already halfway there. G
And yeah it is a fab game.

I' ve been playing Grandia for a while now. Real immersive storyline. Humorous too... It's a shame that I only have the translation to what the main characters say. There's so much to explore besides that.
Anyway, I'll be playing this one for now, using the translation website I found plus the PS1 guide (thanks for that suggestion, I'll definetly need one of those to learn the spells). I'll probably pick the PS1 version if I came across a copy.

Grandia is on the PSN network if you have a PSP/PS3. Downloaded it the other day and am really looking forward to delve into it. I've always felt like less of a Saturn fan for not having played one of the highest selling Japanese Saturn releases.
