 Saturn Harddrive?
« Thread Started on Nov 1, 2009, 12:33am »

Is there any hard drive solution for the Saturn?
I got my first import machine a while back after my UK PAL Saturn stopped playing discs, presumably due to the CD drive going. The new Jap machine is cool for the most part, but when a friend came around I had a scare when games kept blanking out half way through, and we'd have to reset. It hasn't happened again since, but got me thinking about a more permanent solution than buying another machine, should the CD drive go again.
Has anyone mastered a way to connect a hard drive to a Saturn console, and run games straight off of it? =P

Not unless you pick up one of the development consoles and a mirage unit which allows the system to boot games from hard disk.

NOTE: mirage units are both hideously rare and even rarer to get a working one.
