I am new to the whole Saturn scene and hope that I enjoy the game as much as people hype it up to be. I watched a video and the first level looked fun.
Regarding developing homebrew for the Saturn is there a specific 3D modeler?

Welcome. Panzer Dragoon is a good game, but Zwei and Saga are much better. Hope you enjoy it. You'll find loads of advice in the forum archive.

Turns out the disc will not read anything but the audio. Talk about a buzz kill because I was very excited to play having paid 50 for a disc only copy. At-lesst virtua fighter remix plays. |

You cleaned the disc? I found some of my discs coming out of storage didn't play until they were really cleaned up well. If it's not scratched then it should just be dirty

Do you mean Panzer Dragoon Saga? If so it would be worth cleaning it and maybe resurfacing it to try and resurrect it given the value. Also, make sure it is the same region as your console. Note the Action Replay prevents Panzer Dragoon Saga from working.
If it's normal Panzer Dragoon then 50 pounds/Euros is far too expensive for a PAL or JPN disc only copy. Don't know about US prices.

Too expensive for regular Panzer Dragoon NTSC as well if disc only. Can get it from anywhere from about 20$ (USD) to about 50$ as here. Just have to wait a bit but it comes up frequently for cheap. If it is Saga you can get it to play with the AR (at least you can with the JPN version) but you have to input the codes into the AR manually. |

I overpaid because I was very eager to play it and did not anticipate it not working. I am not talking about Panzer Dragoon Saga although hopefully someday I can afford to play and then resale that game as I love RPGs. |
