Is there a specific SCART Cable I need to get for OSSC for the NTSC Saturn? Thanks

no , any SCART cable thats wired for an NTSC Saturn should work with the OSSC, ideally you should get a CSYNC cable for the absolute best quality, but any decent RGB cable will do the job.

Does the OSSC switch to the relevant input when a console is powered on? because if it doesn't i doubt it cares what type of euro-scart saturn lead you use.

So I got the Luma-Sync SCART Cable, since that's what was recommended for model-2 saturns. With SCART and OSSC (Default Settings) Composite AV to TV Does that look right? I've always grown up playing a saturn on composite, so I have no basis of comparison for SCART. I also tried it with Cotton 2, and that one.... the image did not look different. I also noticed that while I could adjust scanlines by pressing the P up/down buttons, I could not get the other scanline buttons to do anything off the remote.

Your images are really too small to see what's going on but if your Cotton 2 doesn't look any different to composite there's definitely something wrong.
What other scanline buttons on the remote do you mean?

that's what it looks like on my TV when I max strength the scanlines. Although I'm still trying to figure out stuff on there. STHA. The scanlines are just at default but using the +/- to reduce/increase the strength. pc engine via component connection

It's pretty good. I used to have a sony BVM which I got off ebay but after using heavily for a couple of months the picture went very faded and greenish and then it died. So the OSSC is a lot more convenient.
I did a comparison vid of pc engine via component and RGB
The thing about component is that I am getting this slight light greenish hue that appears at the top and bottom of the screen. RGB has no complaints.
Component on left. RGB on Right side.

Your SCART picture is much cleaner than your composite one. Look in the top right you can see the radar thing is clearly a fake transparency when viewed via SCART.

It was the change of the sky color that threw me off, I was hoping it was just a case of me never experiencing what the game is supposed to look like.
