Some people on here have made comments that the discussion should be held elsewhere. My friends I am blocked from speaking on those platforms. I am a newbie even though I have played probably twice what they have. I have to play by the rules. Just got in "Night into Dreams" for the Sega Saturn. Very fun game. I have never played it, Its a blast.

That's strange, all sections of the forum should be avaliable to you apart from the marketplace. Maybe Mick is updating the forum. If that's the case then post away, it'll probably find itself in the right section at some point.
But yes Nights Into Dreams is a very good game. I always thought it was clever how throughout the whole game there is no spoken word or dialogue and visuals communicate the story. I also remember being wowed by it when I played it for the first time. In our recent poll it ranked 1st as best Saturn game ever. Interesting you're playing it for the first time.
Make sure you buy yourself a 3D pad. You can play Nights with a normal controller easily but if you wanna start recieving top marks the 3D pad is a useful tool.

I haven't played nights. *shock* just never got round to it... I have a copy arriving soon though. it's obviously a great game and well loved. With many popular games this is the case, I have tended to go for the harder to find games and leave the more available titles for later.

To both of you contributors, you make very good statements. I bought nights on EBAY for $140. The seller had two for sale, a new and used one. The new one he wanted $250 for it. I got it in and I think he sold me the new one at the used price. It did come with the controller and the original box. From what I understand Nights was suppose to be a fill in for not having a sonic game off the bat. If I am wrong please correct me. The 3D controller is really great. Most of my top end games I purchased 25 years ago but buying them now, I agree you should try to get the harder to find titles first. Thanks guys.

Unless the game was sealed that sounds very expensive, even with the controller.
Nights is a cheap game and the 3D controllers aren't too expensive either.

I did launch Nights two or three times but no, could not grip with it. Gameplay is kind of nice, but not that novel. And god, did those graphics aged bad. I know this is a bold statement on a retro gaming forum but hey, this one really hurts my eyes. Panzer Dragoon, for instance, is way better in all domain imho. So Nights sits there, but its controller is pretty nice for other games.

I'm thinking it was $14.00 and $25.00 I hope that's the case. Unless it came with a Saturn.

I also love Nights so quite biased

Yes the game was sealed. Everything was brand new. I know a used game goes for about twenty and a used controller for about thirty. It came with the original box as well. That's why I spent the money. I didn't get a deal by no means but I feel it was somewhat fair.
