atolm Ok thanks for the advice. Yeah bothering with S-Video is mabye not the best choice when using the Framemeister. It might be really better when using the best signal the Saturn has to offer. Using the S-Video cabel was just a a idea, because i have to use it anyway for the upcoming crt. But for the FM i will use RGB again as you recommend. I am just a bit hesistant due to the console goods cable that failed me only after 2 month. But this way maybe just bad luck and won't happen again when getting a high quality cable. The retro acess cables look intersting as well but as i am located in Austria, getting the cables from the UK seller retro gaming cables is the much smarter choice. I can save shipping costs that way. At first glance the retro acess cable would be cheaper, than the retro gaming cables one, but the retro acess cable is out of stock now anyway. And when you have to add the shipping costs it will cost at least as much as the retro gaming cable or maybe even more.

I've never dealt with or heard of console goods, all my Scart cables have come from retro access simply because they're US based. Go with Retro Gaming Cables (UK).

I will order at retro gaming cables tomorrow then. What type of Sync should I get for my Japan NTSC Saturn? The NTSC CSync or Synch on Luma wich is suitable for Pa and NTSC? Will the FM work with both sync types ?

Will the FM work with both sync types ? The Framemeister prefers CSYNC, but I do have a console that uses composite video for sync (worse than sync on luma). The Framemeister will work with it after I dial up the Sync_Level setting. I assume sync on luma should work fine, probably with no adjustment needed. I went with a NTSC CSYNC cable because all the Saturns I will ever own are NTSC versions. If you think there's a chance you might be using a PAL console at some point, grab the Sync on Luma cable instead. There shouldn't be any noticeable difference in video quality and you can use it on both your NTSC and PAL saturns. It sounds like Retro Gaming Cables also offers a CSYNC PAL cable (that also works with NTSC consoles), this has a built in sync stripper to pull a CSYNC signal from composite video. I don't see any reason to buy this one.

Thanks a lot again for the advice at atolm. then I will get sync on Luma cable. At this point I have just an NTSC Saturn und I prefer the NTSC models over pal so if my saturn should break at some point in the future I will try to get a NTSC Japan or NTSC US again but in case I cannot get hold of one at a good price, I have to change to pal. So having a cable that will work with both NTSC and Pal.

I use Packapunch C-Sync NTSC from Retro Gaming cables with breakaway RCA and they are pretty ace.
Before that I used thefoo83 cables and Robb Webs cables from Console Goods UK. I don't use my thefoo83 or Rob Webs Scart anymore so if anyone wants them I'll be happy to send them out to anyone that needs them for a little over postage.

@synch Yes the packapunch cables seems to be nice indeed. I just wanted to order them but it seems not possible just now. I will try it later again to get my cable as fast as possibe.
