I'll note the soft reboot. I already had that "reset_goto = 1" in my INI file. I guess you could potentially set that value to any folder on the card, so I may try setting it to the folder of a problem game and see what happens. Because now I'm not sure if it's the actual game I saw on the CD player display or Rmenu. Thanks for the advice.

Remember that it is also possible that you use an unsupported SD card, which can lead to random read errors that throw you out of the game. Try using a 2-8gb card from a known good brand.

I did mention this earlier the maximum supported Sd card size is 32gb which is what I use SanDisk version not fake though they have their own issues

Yeah, I'll try a 16gb SanDisk that I'm not using and see what happens. I know 128gb arent officially supported so that could be contributing.

That 32GB isn't a real limit. That's an arbitrary number based on the limit the stock windows formatter can format something to FAT32. I suspect Deunan tossed that out there so he wouldn't be bombarded with questions on all kinds of SD cards. The device cares about a quality card formatted to FAT32. I'm running a 200GB microSD sandisk. The entire US set, a bunch of unoptimized PAL exclusives and a ton of JP games are on there. No issues, recently played through all of Saga. Worked perfectly. I previously was running an off brand 64GB card without issue.

But I played it safe and didn't risk trying higher capacity ones. Btw it would be good if there would be a list of Sd cards tested with Rhea. Which one do you use?

Before you start buying $60 SD cards, you might want to get a smaller and cheaper one from a reliable brand and seller, just to rule out that it is indeed the card causing the issues you have. Or even just try any other card you might have lying around, for ex. if you have any in your camera or so. Might save you some money and headache.
Also the issue might be something entirely banal, you didn't have the Rhea installed properly. I once met a guy who couldn't get it working because the little snap on the ribbon connector broke off, so the ribbon was loose and not held in place. This was after I helped him troubleshoot other issues and about to mail him a card I personally tested.
When testing how is that even possible, I promptly broke off that snap myself; luckily I had a spare connector and the equipment to replace it.
So yeah, sometimes people mess up the silliest things you couldn't even think of.

So I split the entire images collection I had onto two smaller SD cards and it seemed to do the trick for the games that were being stubborn. Only NFS appears to be a bad image. I think the reset goto 1 setting had something to do with it. I also got the entire tray inside the Saturn and it's shut flush. This Rhea is awesome, I don't have to worry about the laser croaking anymore! I also have two SaturnPSU coming whenever the indiegogo guy ships them.

All that value does is tell the device to reset to folder 1 (which has the menu) when you soft reboot to the CD player (when games have been loaded with fast boot). There would be no point to set it to any other folder. It's there so you can get back to RMENU without doing a full power cycle.

Just a random question. I have the Rhea and the tray screwed together through the hole by the SD card. I noticed that it lined up perfectly with the screw hole in the tray (which came with a screw). I did it in order to keep it all in place for when I closed the shell. Having a metal screw in there won't damage the Rhea right?
