Hello, I have an issue with my official PAL saturn memory cartridge. When I put in Batsugun, my highscores won't be read from the cartridge. The issue is, when I go into memory manager, the saturn detects the cartridge and I can delete and transfer files from the cartridge to the system memory. When I moved the save file from cartridge to the system, and deleted the file from the cart, my highscores loaded up. When I moved the file back to the cartridge, my scores didon't load up. This happens for other games I tried. I sent over my files to the system memory, wiped the files from the cartridge, and cleaned the cart with isopropyl alcohol, but the problem persists.
Is there anything I can do or should I get a new cartridge?

Does Batsugun support cartridge saves? not every game does (quite a few don't actually.

The game is compatible, it was reading the highscores a few days ago, stopped yesterday. It does that for other games on the cart, I used Batsugun as an example as it was the first game that I tried and it wouldn't read the scores.

Try cleaning the pins on the cartirdge slot, use the library card/t-shirt method.

It's possible that the file has been corrupted. That has happened to me once with a game.

Thats also true , the memory cart might have gotten corrupted, especially if its happened with other games.
At that point the best thing to do would be to format the cart, which usually solves any issues.
To see if there any corrupted saves, go to the save menu on the Saturn's menu and check to see if any saves have a strange name (ie , where it looks like gibberish or random signs)
