Hi , I live in the UK , Years ago when the Dreamcast 1st came out, I bought a JPN Dreamcast , It came with a Step Down Transformer suitable for UK power outlet , I will post a picture at the end , It has playstation written on it and it says ADAPTOR INPUT: AC 220V 50/60Hz OUTPUT: AC 110V 50/60Hz 400 mA But it worked on the JPN dreamcast , never let me down . Today my JPN Saturn came from Ebay , The seller did not provide a Step Down Transformer but sent a link to a site that sold one , so I bought it also , It works but after 15 mins started to make a loud buzzing noise so I turned it all off , after reading the reviews on Amazon it turns out its a pile of junk, So I dug out my Dreamcast Step Down Transformer , So Can I use this with my Saturn ? Thanks in advance

Just to clarify as this may confuse some folks, what you have there is a 220 to 110V stepdown transformer, not a PSU, the PSU in your Dreamcast and Saturn are inside the consoles.
That playstation stepdown adaptor only outputs 400mA, that seems a little on the low side, been a while since I've had a meter on the Saturn's PSU though to see what it's pulling, if I'm right with my maths wattage wise it should be running the Saturn fine.
I'd be tempted to replace it anyway based on age alone for piece of mind.
