I'm super swamped, so no time to open up my Saturn to inspect.
I don't seem to have accurate information on the cable that I'm using. I suspect that it was given to me by a friend.
Is there a recommended good cable to get for SCART RGB?
Attached are some pictures that show the streaking behavior. These show pronounced streaks. Sometimes the streaks are subtle. They appear to generally be attached to places where there is high contrast (like light text on a dark background).
Other consoles on this monitor do not have streaks, so I think my monitor is OK. I think/hope it's the cable (poor shielding?) & not the console, so I'm inclined to purchase a high-quality new cable to test my theory.
Got my new cable in the mail yesterday. Fast shipping, & this was probably the first time *ever* that I was shipped a cable in a sturdy cardboard box with a padded envelope inside, vs. just a padded envelope. That reflects very well on the vendor, Insurrection Industries.
All streaking gone! See screen grabs.
Probably chalk it up to poor shielding on the old cable.
