Helo world
I tri to change music file from Xmen vs SF to Marvel vs SF. it's same file type (.ADP), I change name and create a new iso with ultra iso, but when I generate gamelist with rmenu.exe (for phoebe\rhea) I have a error message :"it's not a saturn game". But when I create an iso from a folder but without any change the game is good. So I assume that the sum about music time is not good or something like this...so I must change something but I dont know where and how? Could you help me please?
THX

Did you extract the header information from X-Men vs Street Fighter and insert it into the modified ISO? If you load the modified ISO in Saturn Region Patcher and you get an error saying "This is not a valid Sega Saturn image", then the header info is missing and the Saturn won't be able to read the image. madroms.satakore.com/#SRPv3.0GE

Every Saturn game has a header. It stores important information such as the game name and region code. I have extracted the header for X-Men vs Street Fighter, and here is a download link:
To insert the header back into your modified ISO, you'll need to install HxD:
Then follow these steps:
1. Open header.bin in HxD.
2. Press CTRL+A to select the whole header, then press CTRL+C to copy it to the clipboard.
3. Open the modified ISO in HxD.
4. Press CTRL+B to write the header into the ISO.
5. Press CTRL+S to save the ISO.

Keep in mind the differences between iso (2048 bytes) and a full sector (2352 bytes). I don't know which kind of format ultraiso saves in. I think you also need to adhere to the same sector order in the files, or else you may get problems.

Yes zyrobs is correct; this header was taken from an ISO with 2048 bytes per sector so you should apply it to an ISO in that same format. By default ImgBurn will create ISO files in MODE1/2048 format, so try creating your ISO with ImgBurn using the 'Create image file from files/folders' feature, and then inject the header by following the instructions I gave you. If that still doesn't work then you could send me the files and I'll give it a go.

Oh, that could be an issue, the header also specifies an initial program which basically boots the game itself. If you use the wrong games header, there's a good chance it won't know how to load the disc. Although given that XvsSF and MSHvsSF is so similar (and may share the initial program), and that you are getting errors indicating the entire header is missing, I think you have another problem.

Ah sorry, I thought you wanted to replace X-Men vs SF's music with Marvel vs SF's music, so that's why I gave you the header for X-Men vs SF. Here's the header for Marvel vs SF: www.sendspace.com/file/42vwxoI injected this header into a header-less version of Marvel vs SF and I was able to boot the game in Mednafen. Out of curiosity I tried putting X-Men vs SF's header into Marvel vs SF but it didn't work, it just got stuck on the SEGA logo screen (like zyrobs said, with the wrong header it didn't know how to load the disc). If you still can't get this working then send me your modified ISO and I'll give it a go.

Thanks for the files. I have built an image and have verified that it works on my Phoebe. Check your private messages for a download link. There are ten characters that are featured in both Marvel/X-Men vs Street Fighter:
- Apocalypse
- Chun-Li
- Cyclops
- Dhalsim
- Gouki
- Ken
- Ryu
- Vega
- Wolverine
- Zangief
You already replaced the music for nine of these characters. The only theme which wasn't modified was Wolverine's, so I went ahead and replaced his theme too.

Thank you very much it's run. So after the first loop, more exactly after the time assumed by the code for one music loop we have some of sound glitch. I assume that we must change some of value somewhere with hex editor. We must found length of music from Xmen vs SF for edit in marvel. I hope it's possible but no idea....

Yeah it's doing the same for me too. Unfortunately I'm not much of a ROM hacker so I won't be able to help you. If you attempt to fix this then good luck!
