The Satiator looks interesting because it supposedly allows the Saturn to write to the SD Card; making it easier to back up the save carts and possibly to dump other data from the console. I'm looking forward for it primarily for this reason.

Eventually the optical lasers will break down, but hopefully by that point SD loading devices will be more affordable.
