If the jammy git who just outbid me on plastic case Panzer Dragoon Zwei by £1 is on this forum- you just broke a young boy's dreams . Welp, It looks like I'll be getting Virtual On after all. If it's any consolation, remember eBay works by only just beating the previous bid. So his/her actual bid may have been much higher than yours.

Looking back on that post it the way I worded it and the emoji makes it look like I was actually crying- I'm all fine and well, it's just a video game I lost out on, albeit a slightly rare variant . On the other listing, it's a bit too steep if I'm perfectly honest, especially when the one I was bidding on went for £20 ultimately. There's another one from Portugal on there too, I think it's around £40 postage and packaging combined, I'm considering that one now, though as I said I may as well get Virtual On and maybe Virtua Cop instead and wait and see if another turns up down the line. The fact that most of the Panzer Zwei plastic variants are turning up in Portugal is odd. Makes me wonder if it's a regional thing for some of them.

Always assume when down to seconds left that the bidder who is outbidding you has a higher bid by atleast by 20$. Depending on the item. I won my i love mickey mouse donald duck by this down to the last 2 seconds I was outbid by 1$ as shown I was at 30 out bid by 31 at 1 second i put in a bid for 65$. I won the item for 57$ and some change. So basically if I would have gone only up to say 40$ I would have lost it, in all honesty I really only did that to secure my win, wanted to only pay 25-40$. Ironically my plan worked but over what I was willing to pay. I did get it cheaper than the buy it nows which are 90$ so it's not a loss but like I said becareful you don't want to do something like that just to win it especially if its over the value or there are cheaper buy it nows.

Also don't get too down as like you said, this is a variant that will pop up again. I only get mad when I lose/miss out on something rare that might not come around for years. Hence I just paid $170 for a Sonic 3D Blast store promo banner as in my 15 years of looking for display stuff, had never seen it. I regret those misses but in the case of something that you can just make another go at, just keep trying.

Just got these today. Already had sfz3 but I bought the spine and the reg card from a seller im good friends with. He was kind enough to sell me those from the one he had put for sale. Im also going to buy a elevator action spine and an outer box for sfz3 when he gets his next order in. Astal and princess crown and layer section 2 I sold off last year but there great games so I had to have them back. Was even surprised my princess crown save was still on my machine. Hopefully I can beat it this time around, it really kills my experience not knowing Japanese if I did im sure id have it beaten by now. Looking through an internet guide step by step of the way feels like im just following a long instruction manual than playing a game.

It's on the previous page of this thread. Ah yes you're right. Cool item to have. Ya sorry should have bumped the picture. It finally came in the mail too. It has awesome color and since its double sided you can hang it from the ceiling (has the spot for a stick on the top part to have it hang and stay flat). The whole look and jungle background just work so well. Most importantly to me is that even though it advertises the Gen/MD and Game Gear versions, the entire graphic uses the Saturn's coverart and Sonic. Makes it mostly a Saturn piece. I can't imagine what this sign would have looked like with the PAL art Saturn promo stuff outside of Japan is just so few and far between I go nuts when it pops up. Problem is that its so rare its usually expensive. And if you miss out on it, could be many years before you see another. Im really into cardboard "standees" but Ive only seen a few for Saturn related games. A couple in the US for the Working Designs games and Nights. In the UK Ive seen a Tomb Raider one I missed out on. Hoping that pops up again.

I have to agree, Saturn promo stuff is great. The fact that most of it has been destroyed already makes it even better when one is found. UK posters for the 3 arcade conversions recently turned up on Ebay, they'd look fantastic lined up together. The Sega Rally one has been already sold, but here's links to the Virtua Cop one and two Virtua Fighter 2 posters if anyone's interested. Virtua Fighter 2
Virtua Fighter 2Virtua Cop
(the games aren't just for scale, they come with the posters too)

(the games aren't just for scale, they come with the posters too) I saw the Sega Rally and VC ones on Ebay earlier. You are right. If you had all of them they would go great on a wall as they the "scroll" type posters. I go on JPN auction websites and look for posters quite a bit. They released a ton of them over there sadly. But they still look cool. I got a few hard to find ones over the years like Burning Rangers and Shining Force III S3 (still really want S1 and S2 poster) I think I might start a Saturn Merchandise thread, would be fund for poster/display pickups

Rather a larger haul than initially intended but I decided to splurge now on some stuff I knew I wanted then try new games on pseudo before purchase. So I have recently acquired these, all Japanese versions:
Vampire Saviour Real Bout Fatal Fury Samurai Spirits 3 King of Fighters '96 Virtua Fighter Remix Virtua Fighter 2 Daytona Circuit Edition Christmas Nights Grandia Densha de Go Ex
I think that's it at the moment. I like fighters. Decided to get the lesser titles in a series to give them a fair go before the more popular or better titles: Vf remix, KOF 96 and SS3 are still cracking games, and I've been playing Real Bout Fatal Fury a lot since it arrived. Vampire Saviour is phenomenal, well recommended to any fight fans.
edit: forgot that I also bought Panzer Dragoon Zwei and Fire Pro Wrestling 6 Man Scramble.
