I haven't seen those two yet, but I'll keep an eye out! And yeah, I will see about that regular version when I get home - it might not have the obi though, I don't remember!

Great piece of infos here, especially the missed attempts on shooter packs. For sure if those Tecnosoft games made it to the US, and with Working Designs behind them, you'd see some tremendous price tags on them today.Well, I guess JP release of shooters may still be enough. Plot is "save the universe". So I went back on the GW forum to dig up Vics direct quotes about these. We had giant signs for it at E3 that I pulled down. Pretty sure it was public knowledge. It was 4 Tecnosoft shooters. Hyper Duel/Thunderforce Gold Pack 1 and Blast Wind/Thunderforce Gold Pack 2. Pretty sure that's the way I had it split. Four games, two skus. And they were really good shooters.
Then when someone asked about Thunderforce V coming over as well The idea of getting the TF gold packs out with the shooter megapack was to get people into TF more here, and it would have led to TF V on the Saturn if the Saturn hadn't had Bernie killing it actively. I don't think we announced it, but it was definitely in the plans. So in the US we should have gotten those 2 shooter packs plus ThunderForce V had things played out differently... luckily they are just shooters, something that didn't need translating, but I would have loved to see what WD would have done as far as cool packaging in the big Saturn cases for them. Imagine that, in the west we really only got 2 real 32 bit shooters (DG and GA) but we should have had, without much effort: - Thunderforce Pack 1 - Thunderforce Pack 2 - Blast Wind - HyperDuel - Thunderforce V How easily the perception of the genre in the NA library would have changed. The crazy thing too is they were advertising them at E3. Perhaps had Sega not pissed them off with the weird booth placement they would have still come out.

Albert Odyssey collector version - comes with a cardboard sleeve and an art book and stuff. Now I'll offload my regular JP version.
BTW turns out it wasn't an art book - it's a calendar for 1996-97 but with lots of nice art in it!

Ah, nice work! This is one of those saturn rarities that feels like it is only worth about $5 to me though, so I'll stick with the loose copy

It's an okay beat 'em' up but there are alot of better ones. I sold mine a few years back so major money. Don't miss it. It's high price is mainly down to it's low print run

warmachine3000, this avatar of yours makes me crazy. That is because I like to collect the Gundam Gaiden games, but not the limited version your avatar shows. I'm seeking the standard version in regular jewel case, which are easily recognizable because they do not have that white square logo on the front artwork. So I've been browsing pages after pages of listings seeking versions without the logo, dismissing the others. Now I want to dismiss your avatar. As of now, my (stupid) collection consists of 4x Gundam Gaiden I, 5x Gundam Gaiden II, but 0x Gundam Gaiden III. As far as I am aware, Madroms from Satakore is the only people who ever saw and bought a copy of this game : T-13313G complete with spine, see his picture here : Gundam Gaiden III jewel case, it existsThe Saturn fullset-er kinsuke_jp was also seeking this version during a long time, and could not find it : www.segacollection.com/specials/kinsukejpiv.htmIf this fact were to become more popular in the Saturn world, Madroms would be a little richer

The Gundam Suit Side Story games are great though. I don't care much for mech games, but I enjoyed that trilogy.
