Do PAL saturns only have 220-240v power supplies, or does it have a multi voltage power supply? (100v-240v)
I ask because the US/JP NTSC units are of course 100-120v, but the Korean Samsung Saturns (NTSC) units have a multi-volt power supply, even though Korea's power system is on 220. So I wondered if PAL units are the same way like that...
I'm modding one of my US Saturns with a JP/US/UK region mod + 50/60Hz mod as I'm moving to a PAL/220 country soon. And on top of this, I'm thinking about stuffing one of those multi-volt power supplies in this newly modded saturn so I can make it a true "region-free" system. If a PAL units have the multi-volt power suppiles, great... If not, well, I guess I gotta search around for a beat-up Samsung unit.

Why not just stick with the 100-110V PSU and use a Stepdown transformer?

I *could* certainly do that.
Not much reasoning needed for modding stuff.

Nevermind. I'll answer my own question. According to gamesx.com , it seems that Samsung unit is indeed the only one that was able to handle multi-voltage situations.
