Something concerns me. There's that game from US Gold- Olympic Games, I've read the review (it had some ads too) in SSM but it seems that... it doesn't exist. There's almost no info about it in the net, satakore's database doesn't include it, same for gamefaqs (it shows that it's a PSX exclusive), it's not listed on the PAL games list and PAL buyers guide on our site not a single copy on eBay either... It's like it wasn't released on Saturn but if so, then what's the review doing in SSM?

You truly don't own the Saturn version. It was pulled after being reviewed by SSM, but before hitting the shelves. There was no Saturn retail version. Only PS1.

Would this be anything to do with US Gold's financial difficulty and sunsequent buy out by Eidos in '96?

If you really want to feel the olympic games atmosphere just buy Athlete Kings.

Athlete Kings it's an obvious choice but I was just curious about that one. I wouldn't buy it anyway

Olympic Games is the new Return Fire! I've seen various people over the years claiming to have seen it in their local bargain bins, while others are convinced it was never released. US Gold wasn't sure if they would bring out the Saturn version, but at the very last minute it quietly creeped out with minimal publicity - hence the lack of coverage from a typically reliable SSM. The only reason I know this one made it is because way back I used to see it being offered at a significantly discounted price with selected other games at various retailers, the most prominent being Dixons. Having already bought Athlete Kings (which I always believed to be the vastly superior title), I always passed this one up in favour of better games such as Die Hard Trilogy and Panzer Dragoon II. Maybe they were just getting rid of the limited copies in stock, knowing all too well Olympic Games wouldn't receive a second print run as it had already become an early victim of third party developers abandoning the Saturn? If this one was either cancelled or released in large numbers, it's news to me! To quote the (ever-so-slightly) grammatically incorrect title of this thread: "Has everybody forgot about Olympic Games?" We sure have, and the reason is Athlete Kings and who-knows-whatever-else. I sure can't get to the bottom of this one, and to be honest I don't really care. However, it would be great if we did find out for certain - even if there are more interesting games that definitely weren't released I could think of discussing...

My mistake everyone. I own US Gold Olympic soccer Atlanta 96 - proves they were still making games at that point.

While surfing the internet I found that only mobygames.com says that it was released on Saturn and I think I saw a cover of US version somewhere.
So, if it was released after all, could it be the most rare Saturn title?
Out of curiosity- should it be "Has everyone forgotten" ?
