Boah! I just searched a bit for Playstation covers of Fighting Force. I am not able to find a decent resolution. I will now buy the US and the PAL Version (different artworks!) and scan them myself. Weird, I remember days, where a 1000 x 1000 pixel (and higher) cover was just a click away. Internet changed.
The Idea with magazines out of that aera is actually quite a good one, since artworks are probably bigger in the magazines. I will search my Sega Magazin issues now as well.

I love the idea of making covers. I'd really like to do one. I'm used to as I do some movie poster artwork in my job and some comic books covers too. The problem is that you will have to wait for christmas holidays cause I can only use photoshop at my dad's place (I won't be able to do it at my workshop because we are 4 artists for only 1 computer) But I did all my Saturn covers like that I used the "Saturn slim covers project" template. But I love to re-make real Saturn covers, also. It's up to you. And it depends on the timing...

The cover idea is really good. I might include some of the ones you make if you wish, and if you manage to do them before the release. BTW hi

torrente: oh cool, you are doing movie posters at work? That's great. Do you have examples? @all: Of course it would be also great, to have cover variations, so that everyone can choose the one he likes the most! In case some people of you find nice bits of Fighting Force Artwork, please scan it in with around 600 dpi and try to avoid moiré effect as good as possible. I think I can even vectorize that Fighting Force logo, so we always would have it in the best possible quality. Oh and hi DRX! Nice to see you here.

oh my god!!!!! it kicks ass TOTALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by the way, the others also can do, remember, there's the chance to do an american, japanese and pal ones
BUT DON'T FORGET TO PUT "ALPHA" or "BETA"
that's because we must distinguish it from the full game that's gonna be leaked someday i hope haha! (never loose faith!)

By the way, the game has three names actually. It's called STREETS in the CD volume (probably because it was supposed to be Streets of Rage 3d) The CD written 'label' says Judgment Force. I *think* the game itself says Fighting Force, but I forgot and I'm out of town till Wednesday. I can ask my gf to check on Monday, though.

Haha cool, drx. I guess that STREETS laben really is just the working title. But Judgement Force is interesting. Didn't Core release a follow up to Fighting Force, under a slighty different name as well? I think I remember something like that.

I'd love to donate at least 10 euros but I don't have a paypal account. How would it work? How should I proceed? I've got a friend who is an eBay seller (pro) who does 'though. So if someone could explain to me, I'll ask him to give 10 euros for me... @ elend: I work mostly on comic books. I'm a scenarist, drawer, inker, colorist. At the moment I'm working on 2 different graphic novels: One with a french artist named Vanyda (who won a price in the States but she's not too famous). She does the scenario, I draw. The over one is a special thing to me. It's a western with zombies. It should be a serie. The first shot was in 2 colors (plus black & white), without dialogue and similar to comic books (format and pages). The following ones will be more as mangas but with my style of drawing which is more like comics. Aside I do some storyboards and posters artwork for movies (to pay the bill). I mostly worked with Europacorp (a friend who works there introduced me) which is a little french production company owned by Luc Besson who mainly does shitty movies (but they pay well, so... wtf). Lastly I worked on Arthur and the Minimoys and Transporter 3 which sadly won't be as good as the second episode in my opinion...
