Oh my gosh this game is AWESOME!
Got it today in the post. Played the first level and I am HOOKED. I seriously think this is a game I will play time and time again and not get bored. It's just SO fun. Also quite impressive graphics in some ways.
I love the high poly models on the old guys face during scenes all rendered in real time then cuts out to lower polys for scenes. I bet thats what they did in Saturn shenmue for scenes etc.
But yeah every things rendered in nice 3d and the games just SUCH fun.
I also love the little mini game it's quite addicting for extra credits haha!

That technique is used a lot, even today in modern games Halo 2 makes rather obvious use of it (Where you can clearly see the models being swapped as they move farther away from the camera). But yeah, I love Dyanmite Deka... the only thing I can't stand is the terrible sound effects/voice acting. In the PS2 version they gave everything a REALLY good make-over and made it look like a proper PS2 game, but left the sounds untouched... creating a kind of visual/audio mismatch going on.

Die Hard Arcade is awesome. You should play the Sega Ages re-release on PS2 - they re-did the game pretty well in that version.

I love the game, took me an age to get a copy, it's cracking little title. I like the inclusion of Deep Scan (I think that's what it's called) to earn extra in game credits.
I'd love to play all the Sega Ages PS2 titles, if only it was easier to run NTSC PS2 software on a PAL machine!

Also, in the PS2 version you can play as Ax Battler and fight Death Adder.
Yes, it is THAT cool.
