Hey guys. I'm looking to buy an Arcade Stick for my Saturn but there's so many models. What's the best one?
I like authentic microswitches and all that junk and sweet response time. What would be the best in those critereas?

Hori Fighting Stick SS would probably be the best bet.

Alright. Before I go ahead, I want to know how the Virtua Stick is. Is it any good? While the Hori Stick seems the best choice, I don't like the button placement. Odd places to put the L and R buttons. I like how on the Virtua Stick the L and R are in their respectful places, making games like Quake, Mechwarrior 2 and Bulk Slash playable. EDIT: Opinion on both models of the Virtua Stick please. I just realized there were two with the same layout. The white one seems to catch my eye though. EDIT AGAIN: I read the Virtua Stick that isn't white and all Japanese is garbage. Is the Japanese white one any good? (The one with the big green buttons)

Whatever you do - If you go for the virtua stick, get the hss-0136. They are solid sticks, you can stretch the spring in it if it gets a little stiff and it's perfectly usable for fighters AND shmups.
NEVER get the crappy cheaper virtua stick - as far as I'm aware it isn't microswitch operated - very very bad stick imho.
The Hori stick is great though. There is less of a dead zone so twitching through a shmup can be a bit hectic, but it means it is GREAT for fighters - its very nice for neogeo layoutwise.
Comparatively - the buttons and the stick of the Hori are (as the name suggests) ideal for fighting games. The HSS-036's buttons are a bit more wobbly and slightly less responsive than the Hori.
Not of huge help - steer clear of the 'other' virtua stick - if your poison is fighting games - go for the Hori FS - if you play a lot of shmups + fighters - the HSS-036 is the better option.

Alright thanks a lot! I'm a heavy shmupper so I'll go for the HSS-036.
