Hey, I was messing with MAME over the weekend, I haven't looked into it in a long time, they have came a long way since 03'... But any way, I seen Bios for the Naomi board... and it spark my interest, so upon further research, I found something on Model 2 Emulation... So I spent all Saturday night dl the emulator and different Model 2 roms... I still haven't found a working VF2, Daytona, or VC... But... I did get Last Bronx, House of The Dead, Fighting Vipers, Sega Rally, Sega GT, Indianapolis 500, Dynamite Cop 2, and some others... All run great!!! It is pretty sweet, the only problem I've encountered is driving game controls, Sega Rally feels off... It is an issue with the analog controlling like a D-pad... Maybe with a Racing Wheel it might clear that up... The other racing games seemed more playable. But it was a cool discovery I had, I'm shocked I haven't read about it on here.... Whats going on Mick your supposed to keep me informed with this sort of thing!!!(j/k) Or maybe I just missed the thread. P.S. Your also supposed to be able to play Daytona online! (Maybe we can set up a day for everyone to play, I don't know how many players it is... I'll do some research on it next weekend)

I have a complete set for the Model 2 emulator on my PeeCee, pretty enjoyable, I kind of thought it was common knowledge, It's certainly been mentioned here before...

I probably just passed over it due to my last PC being a Pentium 2... In which case I didn't really follow much emulation stuff, I just got a new PC in March {Phenom 2 940}, so I have been making all these little discoveries... Make no mistake I still feel like you were personally withholding this information from me...{j/k}

You are using the M2 emulator and not MAME right?
M2 is much better than MAME at Model 2 emulation, and even supports force feedback steering wheels.

Yep... I first tried Sega Rally on MAME... It was kind of crappy but I was willing to play it... Then I came across The Model 2 Emulator... Much better then MAME.
Since my re-emergence in emulation, I've dl'd a bunch of Sega CD stuff, two PSX emu's, and a PS2 emulator...
The epsxe is pretty good, with the proper plugins it knocks those jaggies off nice. It makes PSX games look like Dreamcast games, not as good, but substantially better.
My only issue I've been having with all this dl'ing, is I haven't had time to play anything. I've been spending all my time dl'ing stuff and trying to get it to work, then moving on to the next thing to get working...
The game I have been playing is, can I get all these emulators to work... It's been fun. {I also played some Tobal 2, which I think is pretty good}

M2 is awesome. It's just what I need when I want a quick game of something. Pity not all the ROMs work though.
