Hi all Second post here, just got this today! Unfortunately i didnt do any research and blew the PSU From what I've been reading, seems to be a common occurrence in Europe. Hope you get it fixed soon. I've read in the forum it could be just a blown fuse and varistor.

I finally received my Japanese Christmas Nights Saturn bundle after waiting for about 5 weeks for it to arrive from Japan. Everything is in nice condition and it included the instructions, cables, warranty card and copy of Christmas Nights, which will be my second. Good God! I'd love to have one of these. I want to offer this as a gift to my brother who doesnt have a Saturn. He always wanted one back in the day specialy the Christmas Nights version. Do you know for how much can I get one? I want to surprise him for Christmas!

Well, it has been some time since I got any new hardware for my Saturn, so I thought I would treat myself to some goodies! First off, is the regular black SEGA Saturn light gun, but then something else, something.... different!!! OK it's another light gun, a dual purpose light gun, for both Saturn and the CrapStation... sorry, I mean ShiteStation.... no, sorry, my bad, the PissStation... oh, you know, that other thing that people played on?!?! The PS-108, 3 in 1 light gun..... yeah, I had never seen it before either, but anyway, here you go:

Picked up this bundle, which was mainly for the model 2 Saturn with a multi-region and 50/60htz switch. The two model 2 controllers, 3D controller and memory cartridge were a bonus, as I only had a model 1 and third-party controllers.

Yeah, I was chuffed with it. It's certainly in better condition than my old model 1.

I just got my Grey Japanese Saturn Model 1 in the mail today, along with Hyper Reverthion I'll post pics tonight after work. It's yellowing a little, but I paid for it knowing that, and it plays anything I throw at it, unlike my temperamental PAL Saturn, so I'm chuffed! A nice bonus is that the RGB Scart cable I use on my PAL model works on this one too - looks like I didn't need to order that NTSC RGB Scart cable... ahh well, always good to have spares

It doesn't make a lot of sense, but my correlations via life experience all add up I'm afraid. My PAL hardware dies. My JPN hardware never does. Ever. SAT & DC...

My PAL Dreamcast died, so I bought a Japanese one back in 2004 and it's still kicking :-) My PAL Saturn is temperamental with many games. I think the spindle keeps dropping a bit, and then it gets really, really picky. I have to crack it open every week or so and push the spindle up a bit gently with a pair of pliers... it's a pain in the ass, haha! EDIT: Here's the Photo!

Picked up a 3D controller at a thrift store for $5. I searched high and low to see if there was anything else and came out with only the controller. Pretty good score none the less.

I'd love to get the 3D Control pad for 5 bucks. I still need to stock up on Saturn stuff.

Won this on eBay the other day, it's reported to be a controller for the game Derby Stallion, I've only looked at the model number on the back of the controller, the HS-0101, but I've not checked if it really was made for that game, I was just glad to have a transparent control pad..... anyway, here you go:
