These two games are probably the hardest PAL games to find. Never mind the price I'm talking about actually finding someone who sells a copy of these two games. I've seen a few PAL Flying Squadrons 2 a couple of years back and I foolishly passed up on it. As for Olympic Games, I have NEVER seen a copy of this game in PAL OR NTSC for that matter. Anyone else seen these two games in PAL land?

For a start, you are unlikely to see a copy of Olympic Games as there was never a Saturn game released in any region called "Olympic Games" so I can see how you have been having difficulty. The only game with Olympic even in the title is Olympic Soccer which is stupidly common (about 10 copies on eBay as I post this) I've seen at least 10+ PAL copies of Keio 2 on eBay this year, and I'm not even actively looking for one. Not sure where you are looking but I would respectfully say, keep an eye on www.ebay.co.uk

Check a few old topics in this section. I coulda sworn I've seen a few show up from time to time. Maybe someone still has it.

I have to agree with mick_aka, i've only seen Olympic Soccer. I've just about wrapped up a complete US collection so I would have noticed if one were available here. There is a Decathlete. I picked up a PAL KFS 2 a while back. Good fun

Actually mick_aka and synbiosfan you are both very wrong. I actually have the back issue of SSM issue 11 where they reviewed the game and gave it 79% . Its on page 82. So it does exist.

Here's the proof of Olympic Games on the Saturn. Scanned from issue 11 of Sega Saturn Magazine

As I said, it was never released, like many of the games featured in SSM, Saturn Power and Total Saturn

I see. However, this was not a preview of the game it was a 'review' So for a game to get to the review stage usually means its 100% complete, available and ready for public consumption. If what your saying is 100% accurate then something extremely drastic must have happened for the gaming developers to pull the plug on releasing the game. I'm sensing Sega blocked the release to protect their precious Athlete Kings which was also due out the same month and year as Olympic Games. I'm pretty sure Sega tried something similar with EA sports with a FIFA game or another sports simi game.
I could be wrong, but other than the speculation I mentioned, I see no reason why Olympic Games did not appear on the Saturn. Afterall there was a PSX version which I know for a fact because my brother had it. So how come the Saturn version was pulled? From that SSM review the game was actually complete so it makes no sense.

This was the last ever game published by US Gold and all the other versions came out in June '96, that Issue of SSM is September '96.
I doubt by that late in the year Eidos who brought out US Gold had ANY interest whatsoever in pumping out money to release a game based around the '96 Olympics on a system with rapidly dropping sales figures.

Just to add to the confusion...the always accurate Wikipedia lists it as a game. lol
That's why my US collection is almost complete, I've had to hunt down/disprove lot's of supposed releases. I just have a few disc variations of games to go. ;D
