Sonic World and Ninpen do not share any code what so ever. It's just a case of looking similar.

What's that Sonic game? Some fan-made homebrew game that works just on the Emulators?
You can tell from the Title screen it's not original, but the gameplay and Sonics character look very good.

THAT SONIC GAME BTW... really impressive! Is that running on the Saturn then? Or is it receiving a performance boost of some sort via emulation? The decision to use an animated sprite for Sonic was a great idea too. This is TRULY Sonic in 3D, imo

If I remember correctly it runs on the PC. What I would be more interested in seeing is the someone hacking the Sonic ports in Sonic Jam to make a new 2D Saturn Sonic Game. Can you imagine what could be done with with all the Saturn's abilities? And the best part is you wouldn't have to worry about physics and gameplay accuracy as that's already been done.
