Remember SEGA's amazing looking arcade games in the mid to late 90s? Want to play all those lovely games on your PC? Now you can... www.supermodel3.comObviously being a brand new emulator there's still a few kinks to iron out and sound has yet to be configured. Those wanting to play that arcade perfect Virtua Fighter 3 at home may just have to hold on a little while longer...

from my understanding, Model 3's sound is not emulated yet... so they would be silent?

This supposedly needs a seriously powerful PC, I'll have to give it a go...

Let us know how you go on guys. I'll try to add some information on the first post regarding which specs people are using and where to download the emulator/roms.

From what I can gather, the DEmul programmers are focusing on just emulating Scud Race for now, with other Model 3 games coming later. By ensuring that each title works before moving onto the next, higher compatibility is guaranteed. Of course, this also means we have to wait longer for the emulator to reach its final stage. Then again, the Model 3 board only ever had a small number of games (my fingers are crossed for Virtua Fighter 3 being concentrated on soon!) - can you imagine how long it would take if a Saturn emulator was made this way?
P.S. The last time I checked posting ROM links was a definite no-no...

Virtua Fighter 3 is my main reason for supporting this. My second favorite game ever and the Dreamcast conversion just didn't quite do it for me.
How long has the Scud Race project been about?

Loving all the videos of this on YouTube, can't believe arcade perfect Model 3 emulation is possible after all these years. When they fix the sound issues and get VF3 running properly it's time to upgrade my PC!

The day VF3 runs perfectly is when my other half's patience will be tested more than ever...

Running on a old budget single core processor I'm not surprised it's running like that.
