If you can find one, i'd get the madcatz rgb scart switcher, the picture quality is bang on, and its a switch not push buttons as push button switches i feel don't work aswell, i've been using one and i can't fault it, works the same as if the devices are connected direct to the tv

I'm suprised you say that adds noise to the picture, I have one that looks very similar but without the composite inputs and it's absolutely fine. Passive switches should not really add noise unless your cable run is too long.

There is a pin on scart specifically associated with noise in the image but I forget which one it is - yanking it out usually fixes these kind of issues.

Looks like Amazon have one for £6. Worth a punt at that price I think I'll update how I get on with it.

I'm interested in hearing how it works out as well. RGB + Sound without an extra power brick sounds too good to be true, especially if it doesn't introduce noise. Usually the passive ones do.

Automatic passive SCART switchers often have all kinds of problems, the manual push button operated ones however should not introduce noise at all, since they aren't doing anything whatsoever to the signal.

I hate push buttons much prefer a sliding switch, push button ones don't seem as well built, i've had problems with push button switches not had problems with the mad catz switch

Never known a passive manual switch of any kind to be problematic except with longer cable runs, unless the switch/lever gets stuck between two inputs.
