In that case, we found a previously unknown revision. Lovely. Glad to hear that I was able to contribute a little something to this forum! Recently I came up on a Skeleton Saturn and I can post picks of the serial and internals if it is wanted, just let me know.

Err... I don't know if you can be late to an ongoing project, really! You're from Folkestone?! Hmm...

OK, I had some time to work on this... summer sucks. Added the last bunch of entries. Next update, I'll either put in better sorting / search, or finally start uploading the images for each serial. Question, are all Asian Saturns set to NTSC video? Or are there some which are set to PAL video display? Top picture is of a standard PAL model 2 Saturn Can you tell me more about this machine? This is the only 13th gen PAL Saturn I've ever come across, and I've been looking. Are you willing to open it up to make screenshots of the insides?

Yeah, seen it, but didn't save the serial the first time. Thanks for posting it again.
I wish I had more USA serials. Compared to the amount of japanese ones I found, there are barely any USA ones. Not much PAL either, but those seem to have been made majorly by two manufacturers only.

It's a VA1 machine. It has separate controller boards, but still uses the old 20 pin cdrom board (it's probably the most ridiculously designed saturn motherboard there is).

Not very good with close ups so just a picture of the two consoles I opened up recently to show what kind of laser assembly they have if it helps and a note of their serials and model type. Model Number MK-80200A-50 Ser.no. 179000610 Made in China Model Number MK-80200A-50 Ser.no. AD69094691 Made in Indonesia Same model number and same VA number (I think?) but two entriely different laser assemblies? Bottom model doesn't show the ribbon cable as I had it out to give it a clean.
