Yup, thanks. I'm missing both of those type of Saturns, incidentally.

On the first Saturn picture I posted, the ribbon cable is split by a little board. Any idea why?

It uses a Sanyo cdrom drive, those have additional trap boards between the drive and the machine. I don't have one, so I can't even guess what that board does electrically. Best guess is that the Sanyo drive is not pin compatible with the JVC one that saturns normally use.

Cool. Thanks for the info. So when you say you're missing those types of Saturn, from your research or your collection?

Both. But I'm only collecting PAL machines at the moment.

Bumping. The site should now have all pictures uploaded, except for the bunch I have to crop or split up or resize (which still amounts to 150+ entries...).

Do you have any infos about the MK-80001 USA Model (V2), as it´s not in your list?

No, and neither the MK-80200-03 PAL model. And I've been looking.
edit: quick google search reveals that MK-80200-03 DOES exist, the number IS printed on the serial sticker, and is apparently an Australian model. But I've yet to get any entries into my database.
I think the MK-80001 model number must've been printed on the box somewhere, and not on the console. There was a Canadian release that had MK-80008-22 printed on the box too, but the console itself was regular MK-8000A.

Thanks... Here i got my PAL V1 Saturn for you. As this Saturn is highly modded to perform PAL/US/JP and 50/60Hz i don´t think you are interested in PCB pics...

Thanks.
I have a console of that particular model, so I don't need any pictures. But I'm not saying you shouldn't make them if you want to.

Can you make a set of pictures, for me to use in a future article? I don't have time to work on the site right now, but I plan to write all the info I can down in one place.

Thanks, saved. Also, I just noticed that you were posting the scaled down imageshack versions of the pictures, heh.
