Yes there's a price guide for games on the site, but for other items such as accessories and whatnot, it'd be nice to have a place to check the prices for those too. For non-eBay prices and it's horrible inflation.
So I'm starting this thread. This thread is now about STEERING WHEELS
Anyone know the real price/a good price for a loose Saturn steering wheel in okay condition? Just found mine in storage and I totally don't want it.

They're virtually worthless on the basis that nobody wants to pay for shipping the damn things!

Iv'e got one of them wheels. Its absolutely crap. Crap design, looks crap, crap with Sega Rally, crap everything.
Pretty sure it's worth less than nothing though.

It hold the record for my longest unsold eBay item, it was listed for 4 months and when it finally sold, with free postage, I had basically paid the buyer £1 to take it.

To be fair, when you bought those things brand new they worked pretty well. But second hand ones I've owned don't work well because they've ceased up a bit.

I just hate the lack of foot peddles. Otherwise it'd be a good wheel.

I have two & I think they're great for Sega Rally but nothing else... maybe Daytona too but that's it.

As has already been said, they were MUCH better when brand new.
The ones you pick up now are usually either too slack and rattley due to over use, or ceased up and corroded inside from being sat in someone's attic for 15 years.

I bought mine for £3 from a car boot. Used it a few times with Sega Rally but was rubbish compared to the pad so went back to that.

I picked one up about 6 years ago or so for $9 brand new when a shop found it sitting out the back and put it on clearance. I found it pretty useless for playing games with and managed to score a lot more than I paid for it when I sold it soon afterwards.

One thing the wheel is good for though. ...anything and everything that isn't a racing game. Try playing everything else with it. DoDonPachi is hilarious trying to dodge those shots with that thing. If only there was a peddle so you could put the pedal to the metal and zoom through patterns. Unfortunately Bubble Bobble 2X does not use analog control. Woulda been neat to slowly turn that wheel to slowly turn your aimer. Anyways this topic has turned into one about a wheel, and not about actual price checking. Moved and renamed.

Playing any of the Daytonas with the Arcade Racer is bliss to me. Sega Rally is not as good but not bad either. It's definitely better if you set the handling to slow. I really like it for Wipeout as well. It plays terrible on the Touge series.

Someone can actually have mine off me for free if they collect! Takes up too much space and I refuse to plug it in.
In in the Manchester area if anybody does want it.

I know that the thread is quite old, sorry for refreshing if that's a problem.
But i'd like to ask one more time a question: Is official saturn racing controller worth it ? I mean i'd like to give it a try with daytona usa and manx tt superbike. Do you guys play with the racing controller or do you prefer a standard model 2 pad ?
