Just ordered JP version of Space Harrier !!!!!!! Not really interested in Afterburner 2 - I have never got on with that game. Was a BiN for £30 so went for it. I always liked a bit of Space Harrier from time to time though Outrun has always been my favourite of that era. Gotta give some love to Afterburner 2. It plays amazing on the Saturn. Really fun game. And you can get good at it quite quickly. That being said I looked at some copies on ebay the other day just for fun (I have one already) and man I was blown away with what people were asking for it!

I just couldn't get it on with it. I remember playing it a bit in the arcade and the Megadrive version wasn't half bad either. I just wasn't able to figure out what was going on!!!
Space Harrier is just as manic at times but I think the graphical design lets me see what was happening more than with Afterburner.

I love most of the Sprite Scalers on the Saturn. Play ace with the Racer and Mission Stick too

Very true Team Andromeda! It does play well with the mission stick. One of the games that makes it worth owning one xD

Nice. Power Drift is one I'll like to pick up in the future. I remember it in the arcade with the moving cockpit - was a bonkers game. The mission stick looks great but I have enough controllers as it is - arcade sticks, wheels, bongos, guns etc.... and none of them store easily. The mission stick doesn't come cheap either!!!!

O man I feel ya on that. For Saturn alone I got 1 3D Pad, 2 Standard pads, 2 virtua sticks (one NTSC and the VF2 official one), 2 Stunners, the Racing Wheel, The Mission Stick, the twin stick for Virtua on, like 4 3rd party pads, the multitap, and this weird 3rd party rac con racing wheel replacement that I got for 1$+13$ shipping wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy back.

Power Drift is on the way for me, always thought it looked like a fun game. Outrun (JP) seems to be around the same price as Power Drift, might have to get it before it goes up. In Yakuza Zero they have arcade machines in the game where you can play Outrun and Space Harrier. I believe a couple others are in it as well, but I guess I can play them there until I decide to buy them.

Power Drift is brilliant on the Saturn with a nice extra modes and just some of the best use of the 3D Pad. Great music too

Galaxy Force II looks nice too but I don't think it's considered as accurate as the other scaler games on Saturn. But if I had Space Harrier then that would cover that style of game for me.
It's on PS2 as part of the Sega Ages series but costs a pretty penny.

They still look, sound and play great mind
