..but I'm not talking about my laundry. Unfortunately, I'm talking about the silver or white colours on the tv screen being a purple shade when my Saturn's on.
Wiggling the scart lead at the Saturn end can make the purple go back to white, but it's having less and less effect, which is a bit worrying.
At the moment I only have one working Saturn to experiment with, but both my scart leads have the same purple hue onscreen so i know it's the fault of the Saturn.
My question is: has anyone else here experienced this and can anything be done about it?
cheers
Paul

Still sounds SCART related to me, possibility of you having two duff SCART leads?! or even a damaged connector on your TV?

The problem is with the Saturn. I just shipped everything downstairs onto a 32 inch Sony Bravia and the purple problem is still evident -- with both scart leads. I'm gonna get some electrical contact cleaner and spray it in the socket on the rear of the Saturn and see if that helps. BTW - how rubbish is the Saturn picture on a big LCD screen? It looks like someone threw lego at the screen

I swear by 24"- 26" square tube for superior picture quality while gaming, downside is cathode rays blasting you, but hey as long as you don't sit to close screen ( like yer mam always said).

I just took the Saturn down from the Attic Arcade to play in the living room. Partly so I can have my machine next to my other, more modern ones -- and partly because I can't be bothered in these temperatures to sit in my loft space! The TV that I played all my Saturn stuff on in the AA (Attic Arcade) was a 10 year old Philips 22" stereo huge affair. Big, but awesomley solid like an old pal. Unfortunately, Mrs rossi let me get as far as "Can I bring...." out of "Can i bring one of the big TVs downstairs to play my retro collection on" before unleashing a Death Stare(TM) that would bring Charles Manson to his psychotic knees. So I'm stuck with the LCD Paul

Blimey-I must be really lucky, Sarah lets me get away with murder. Having said that we're not married yet, maybe she's waiting til she's landed and gutted me before taking charge!
