I have a couple of sets, I'm after a boxed set so once I get hold of some boxed I will have a set boxed, a set for use and a spare set. The spare set will be for sale at a VERY good price once I pick up a boxed set They are pretty uncommon though, I'm expecting to pay somewhere around the 50 quid mark for a boxed set.

I will give you first refusal on my spare set when I get some boxed ones to replace them.
I'm only a boxed VCD card and boxed wire-less pads off having every piece of official pal hardware boxed.
Unfortunately both of those are rather pricey.

awesome.
Unlike most though I just wanna play Saturn games (al lthe best ones and the ones to my own taste). So boxed games and manuals mean nothing. All I want is the disks.

I actually think the Wireless pads are far more comfortable than the wired ones.
Just because of the extra thickness and weight added by the batteries.

I've never bought the wireless pads. Are they really worth getting? I remember them getting some bad reviews back when they came out.

Well, they sometimes suffer from stray signals, because they use the same infra-red system as TV remotes etc.
Occasionally your game might do something you didn't tell it to do.
However it's not that frequent.

I've certainly never had that problem, ever and I've been using wireless pads since '99

I bought 2 EUR sets, new, 3 years ago in Paris for 30 euros each. The store had like 6-8 sets for sale + some EUR VCD cards, also new for 40 Euros each. It was a great deal The wireless pads, especially EUR ones, are rare to find. But I didn't test it, so I can't tell you if they are good for playing.

I've certainly never had that problem, ever and I've been using wireless pads since '99 I used to experience it in my living room, games would often pause themselves. However when I moved my Saturn to the attic... the problem went away. It is probably a lot to do with other sources of Infra-red in the close vicinity of the Saturn.

Sometimes I get a stray pause, but nothing that would facilitate a negative review. I got my boxed set on Ebay for £3 or something like that. A case of right place at the right time.

The arcade racer got shitty reviews based almost totally on the fact it has no pedals.

Not to mention the fact it wasn't actually a wheel... such a badly concieved idea.
