There's some dubious choices on there. I mean, Resident Evil? Virtua Racing? STEEP SLOPE SLIDERS? ? I've always thought The Crow: City of Angels is the worst game ever created for any system, but where's The Hulk? STEEP SLOPE SLIDERS? ?? SSS is one that holds huge nostalgic memories for me. Being an ex-skater, this was right up my street way before Tony Hawk's came out. Christ we played the demo to death.

Yeah, I think that some of the choices are a bit strange here too....what was so bad about Resident Evil, Virtual On etc? Virtua Racing may have been a poor port but it's hardly one of the worst ever Saturn games, and I don't remember Firestorm or Destruction Derby being that bad either.
Hey, where's Revolution X? That game really sucked, and one of the only lightgun games I have ever known of to not be compatible with the lightgun!
I've never heard of Planet Joker, I'll have to find out more about that one.

To clarify some of the bits others posted on the nominations thread... Resident Evil: Yes great game but the saturn got a horrible conversion. Virtua Racing: Crapper than the 32X version, which was nothing special. Virtual On: I love it, but its very much a love/hate type of game. Steep Slope Sliders: this was added by me so I will explain, allot of saturn owners have fond memories of this game, I truely believe this was totally down to the fact it was the only snowboarding game available. It is however in the wider scope of snowboarding games one of the least entertaining of all time for me, the graphics are horrible even by Saturn 3D standards, the courses are seriously dull and the moves severely limited compared to its contemporaries. The list is what forum members at the time nominated

There are some really good games in that list! >:E
But my vote goes to Alone in the Dark. What an absolute steaming pile of wank. Piece of shit, unplayable shitfaced tranny. I'd like to meet the person that decided the game was good & ready, and take a shit on his chest. The only game that came to close to this for being such a bag of cocks, is WWF In Your House.

Heh, I haven't played a single game on that list, save for Virtual On (which I love).
Maybe that's for the better.

I think it's how you look at what makes a 'worst' game. Worst as in technical/looks/unoriginal, or worst as in simply rubbish on the enjoyment front.
Take Hang-On for example. Technically shite with laughable sound and visuals, but mucho fun for me. I spent hours playing that on my Saturn. More in fact than Manx TT, even.
The Crow is by far the game that gave me the least enjoyment. Punching through opponents and a random control mechanism coupled with non-existant collision detection marks it down as a shit conversion cash-in of the highest order.
I must have missed the nominations because I'd have been in there listing The Hulk, Sky Target, Tohshinden, Cool Spot, Rayman, Shellshock and tons more.
