Hey Guys I just received Wizardry llylgamyn saga import in the mail. It has an option to turn the text to english. Well not all the text but I good percentage. Excellent role playing. As it is the first 3 Wizardry games in one. With updated graphics and textures but you can turn those off to in options and have that old school feel. What do you guys think of the game? Any comments? Please feel free to ask. Thanks  |

I'm not at all into RPG's myself, however, I would be intrigued to hear the opinions of those here who may have played it.
Personally, I've never even heard of that one myself before now...

Its a very basic rpg dungeon crawler well for the first game proving grounds anyway. You might like it you go through the maze out of town and pick up treasure of all sorts. The only gripe is that you can't change the names of the characters to English, there in Japanese so it gets some getting used to.

I got the game off Ebay something like seven years ago and still haven't played it.  At first I was prevented from playing it by my inability to figure out how to get the darn thing into English. Years later, someone explained it to me, and I gave it a try. Then I quickly learned that the game being in English doesn't amount to much when the manual is still in Japanese.  Now, I'm not going to let a thing like that stop me, but tackling a game like Wizardry when you don't know the rules is a daunting task, and I haven't found a good time to really get down to it. It looks good though, a very comprehensive package. |

You should download the manuals for the original games on apple II I got mine from replacementdocs.com. It gives you the spell lists and what they do.
