Hey. Not sure if game-specific issues are accepted here, but I'll just wait and see. Anyway, I just recieved "Darkseed" by GaGa Communications and Cyberdreams in the mail today, and I tried it out on my US Model 2 Sega Saturn with an Action Replay cart. It mostly works, except that it seems that whenever I examine an item in the same room it was found in, it completely crashes (even when you eject, it's still locked up). I also had it crash in the police station whenever I selected the tin cup from my inventory (Although, it worked fine after turning the power off and on again on the console). And lastly, I noticed there was no pillow in the police station to hide my items under, but that may have been my fault because this version's time apparently runs faster than the PC version. Can anybody tell me if this is a compatibility issue, how I can fix it, or what? Thanks. The disc is perfect, by the way.

Well, I was able to beat the game. It turns out the pillow thing was an error on my part when playing the game. I cleaned the disc to get rid of any hairs on the disc surface, and I made sure the Action Replay connection was secure, and so far it's been reliable. Not sure if the problem is completely gone, or if I was just lucky. Are there any known games to have problems with the Action Replay?

Have you tried with another Saturn? It could be a fault in your unit.

sasasasasasa the game is very playable, the Saturn version was not dubbed into Japanese so all the voice acting is still in English. thepirategamerboy12 its been a number of years since I played this but back then it would have been on a PAL using an Action Replay cart, I cant remember having any issues with it at all.

Sorry for taking so long to reply. Anyways, I don't have another Saturn to play it on. Could it be one of the few games that have problems with the Model 2 Saturn? Also, the game is playable, but you have to save often.

Do you have a modded Saturn? I had a modded Model 2 Saturn, and it crashed quite frequently, so much that I ended up changing to my Model 1 and buying actual discs instead. I had to try to get lucky and get to a save point before it crashed. I had no idea that this was a problem for others, too.

I have an Action Replay cart to play imports. It otherwise is a completely stock Model 2 Saturn.

I guess the game has some quality issues then. It's not unheard of a commercial game to have bugs; I've seen Digital Pinball Necronomicon crash into a debugger window a few times, or have the ball fly out of the stage (both of these forced a game reset).

Alrighty, then. Every one of my other games work pretty well, btw, so it's probably something with the game itself.
