So does anyone know of a good USB adapter (no lag) that supports not only the saturn gamepads, but the 3D controller, driving wheel etc? I know amazon has this one as well as this one (which I own) but neither of them support anything beyond the gamepad. Recently I stumbled across this, the Raphnet adapter which seems the most promising so far. Are there any others?

So does anyone know of a good USB adapter (no lag) that supports not only the saturn gamepads, but the 3D controller, driving wheel etc? I know amazon has this one as well as this one (which I own) but neither of them support anything beyond the gamepad. Recently I stumbled across this, the Raphnet adapter which seems the most promising so far. Are there any others? I'd recommend the Raphnet adapter. It supports all of the peripherals mentioned on the website, including the 3D pad (works great with NiGHTS HD too). As for the wheel, inputs respond as they should within Windows, but SSF crashes when you try to use the wheel with it. Just be careful with how you handle and store the adapter. The only thing protecting the circuit board is a flimsy piece of rubberized plastic. The MayFlash adapter you linked to on Amazon is fairly decent. It's cheaper than the Raphnet one, has two controller ports, and all the vital components are protected by a sturdy plastic case. I own a variant that I found on eBay which boasts compatibility with the 3D pad, but this isn't exactly true. Stick input works correctly, but the adapter wasn't designed to accept analog input from the triggers, making it useless for racing games (and NiGHTS if you like to exploit the stunt ribbon glitch). If you only plan on using digital controllers, it's still a good adapter though.
