Connector "pitch" of Cart Slot? Is it PCI or PCIe the same?

Hello all,

While working on my direct save 8MB home made cart... I have been trying to figure out what is the real "pitch" of the cart slot?

It looks like PCI slot or a PCI Express slot. I would just like to confirm!

PCI is 1.27mm pitch. PCIE is 1.00mm pitch.....

Thanks. I was hoping to mod 2 x X8 PCIe Riser/extenders side by side as the slot connector. BUT they arn't pin 1-1 etc... Grounds and common pins are connected together. I need just individule pin layout.. BUGGER!
