Tesco is the British equivalent of WalMart, I suppose. They'll sell you everything from a toilet brush to car insurance!

Actually, Asda is the English equivalent of Wal-Mart as it is owned by the Walton family.
Tesco is our equivalent of some sort of brutal Vietnam death-camp ... especially now that it's one with Starbucks =O ! !
Oh, and I don't really like those nasty, nasty sandwiches, I just wanted to be special but not Andy Rooney special.
Thanks for saying hi =D !
Hi !
rossi46; You might also know a little about their milk-production then ... they and the other large chains should be banned from selling THAT.

rossi46; You might also know a little about their milk-production then ... they and the other large chains should be banned from selling THAT. Very true. Out here in the sticks, where I am, there's 'Boycot Tescos' and 'Don't shop at Tescos' signs aplenty in some of the fields I pass on my way to work. Dairy farmers feel quite strongly against the Tesco monopoly and (alleged) price-fixing scandal 'round these 'ere parts. </removes straw from teeth

Yeah, but they are not even tactically forcing the poor farmers into bankruptcy anymore ... they're so blatant with it.
As blatant as Carrie Fisher's crack-addled eyes in that horrible Star Wars "Television Special".
I hate how Tesco are appealing to the various local constabularies around England (don't know about anywhere else on the island) that they should be allowed to put their shops everywhere despite those particular places having a unanimous verdict of not wanting a Tesco in their village / hamlet.
They did it where I live, and blasted our co-op until it was nothing but cinders ...

Ooh, you better ban yourself for using profane vernacular =P !
But yeah, where did they suddenly get all of those billions from ?
A pact with the devil ?
A pact with Bill Gates ?
A PACT WITH SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS ?
Although I suspect all three of these entities are entirely fictional and don't like to imagine they may be real ...
