The game was released way early in Europe, like a month or 2 before the movie was out and it really spoiled the movie as now the movie looked just as cheesy as the computer game, but as already said Qui Gon was a dude though!

I've always found it odd that the Saturn never got any Star Wars or Star Trek games. More odd than anything else, mind you, since I get my sci-fi fix on the Saturn in spades with the likes of Solar Eclipse/Titan Wars, Enemy Zero, and Panzer Dragoon Saga.
Wing Commander III was announced and even advertised for the Saturn. Probably just as well we never got it, I'd say... It's a decent game, but it feels much more at home on the 3DO than it would on the Saturn, and it gives 3DO fans one more game to cheer about that doesn't appear on every console of that generation.

Wing Commander games have always been pretty demanding. I remember people buying new gaming pc's mostly to play Wing Commander. The only real good platform for these games were pc's imo. Don't get me wrong its good that consoles got these games too, everybody should be free to have the choice of platform. But having played WC 2 to 4, Privateer and Armada on decent pc's myself, I don't see the appeal of console versions of these games.

It's occurred to me that the Saturn has no Star Wars or Star Trek games in any region. I remember Star Wars games in particular being a big deal during the pre-32bit era and I always seem to notice the Star Wars or Star Trek games being released. There's no unreleased game info for either franchise on the Saturn, and I recall back in the day Origin themselves fully denied that Crusader No Remorse was a rework of a cancelled Star Wars game, which a lot of people seemed to presume at the time. I do however remember reading many years ago of the possibility of a Super Star Wars Trilogy release on the Saturn, I wish I could remember which magazine it was in. It's a shame such big franchises never made an appearance. I swear I saw something about Dark Forces possibly being a Saturn game. Ill have to flip through my old magazines again. I was on top of anything console FPS back in the mid 90s (being there were so few made) so it may have been just me praying for it to be real
