Hi! I'm new here!
So I'm finally planning to join the Saturn family! I'm going to fetch a Japanese console. The different revisions have made me somehow confused.
As far as I have researched he original 1994 Japanese version is called HST-0001. However I've seen some that has HST-0001 on the box but on the back of the console they have HST-3200. So which one of these is the actual original Saturn? And what are their differences ?
Are there any downside getting a HST-0001 Saturn compared to later Japanese revisions? The original 1994 Playstation for instance had a S-video output, which was removed for all later versions. Are there similiar hardware differences when it comes to the Saturn?
Thanks in advance everyone!

HST-0001 is the box, HST-3200 is the console inside.
There is no downside to getting earlier Saturns.

Again: HST-0001 is the box. The one that the console comes in. The package, the controllers, the manuals, etc. HST-3200 is just the console inside that package.

Strange. I can swear that I have seen Saturn models with HST-0001 on the actual back of the console.
