Also i remember playing Final Fight on my mates PC years back and it was so slow it was unplayable.

Emulation has come a long way, and as an avd retro gamer I find it's great as a 'Try Before You Buy' system, not that I condone downloading games you dont own It is however a great way of me avoiding the purchase of totally rubbish games.

For the Saturn, I hear you need a fairly modern PC - since the Saturn has a complex multi-processor architecture.
But besides that, even my ancient Pentium III 800Mhz will emulate most Playstation one and below just fine.
That said, I hate playing games on my PC. I'd much rather kick back on the couch and play on the big screen.

Why not connect your PC to your big screen TV then. My 32" Samsung HDTV has a VGA port, so I'll be using my PC on that once Crysis comes out.

Yeah, I did do that once, but I just can't be bothered now. I'm not going to move my desktop around just for this, and using my laptop is a viable option, it also has other regular uses. I'm thinking about using an old xbox for emulation. I heard it works well that way.

what are the system requirements for a Saturn emulator? I have a 2.8ghz quad core with 4gb ram..Will this run a Saturn game?...I maybe sound stupid but i know the Saturn is difficult to emulate because the original Saturn had multiply processors!

That is way more than enough to run SSF! SSF will happily run on a PC a good deal slower than that
