I have a small issue with my black Hori Fighting Commander controller. When fully plugged in the pad is completely unresponsive but when plugged half way in the pad seems to work fine. I don't understand this at all. It's incredibly frustrating during gameplay as the pad is only half way plugged, sometimes the connection becomes loose due to movement. This is my favourire 3Rd party controller, I would just buy another one but as I bought it second hand like this I have no idea if all Black HorI Fighting Commander pads have the same glitch. Any ideas how to fix this issue?

You're going to have to open up the controller, if you can't figure out the problem based on that then you're going to have to provide us with some good screenshots.

I don't think the screenshots will do much good unless I open it up which I'll try do this week. Thanks for the input.

Scrape the dirt off the metal contacts inside the connector, they prevent contact unless the connector is in some specific position. It's what I did to fix a pad that was sold as broken.

I just bought one asked in other post but is it like a Neogeo arcade stick? Only other one i have is the eclipse and that's stiff and very hard to work with. Also how is the ASCII stick that looks good but who knows if anyone has it. Good luck with your fix sych hopefully it's not a common problem.
