To be honest, I think I'm done with collecting Saturn games for the moment, or at least commercially-released titles... The prototype scene is where it's at for me now, and I'm curious to see what this year brings. For example, it looks as if several builds of Cyber Sled are very close to being made available, not to mention there are rumours of at least more footage of Shenmue Saturn Version - if not playable code as well! - surfacing as bonus content with Shenmue III (assuming this isn't delayed until 2018, which is a very real possibility considering the apparent lack of progress based on its recent development updates). Of course, just as the mythical "1.5" version of BioHazard/Resident Evil 2 finally surfaced, I remain hopeful someone will share one of the many Saturn games known to exist before also being cancelled entirely, plus there's always the chance of more from the attempts to get those countless variations on Sonic Xtreme running on stock hardware. However, it would be great to see things like Adidas Power Soccer, Reloaded or Saturn Virtua Fighter 3, especially as all of these were believed to have been completed. If not, how about the new owner of those Destruction Derby 2 alpha discs does us a massive favour? I am in the same boat sort of. I have almost all of the NA release I want. Handful of JPN stuff. But Id love to see more prototypes surface and the like.

Barry as such a big Res Evil fan surprised you had never heard of 1.5 . I think its discovery was certainly one of the biggest prototype unocoverings in the community. However I knew only a fraction of what Anthaemia mentioned. me too. Well, I have now LOL.

I'm hoping to pick up some more arcade ports later in the year; Last Bronx, Sega Touring Car Championship, etc. I may try to get CIB versions of some of my disc-only games as well.

Don't think I'll be buying much this year since I've got plenty to keep me entertained for the year from my haul in 2016, but I'd like to track down a copy of Rockman 8, and potentially see if I can get all of the Konami shmups (missing Gradius Deluxe, Salamander Deluxe, Sexy Parodius and (if you count it) the MSX Collection), as well as some more vertical shmups like DoDonPachi, Twinkle Star Sprites and Game Paradise.

I'm buying back most of my losses in February and adding hyper duel tempo and psychic killer. So roughly 30 games adding up to a whopping 4259 somewhere around there.. After this I can finally get back some Sega CD and buying a turbo duo then very slowly collecting throughout the year. Ive done well before the end of the year so it's gonna be a real busy 2017.

A shop near me has a copy of D in good condition, at least it did a few weeks ago. Let me know if you're interested and I'll send you the contact info. Why Street Fighter the movie? That's regarded as by far the worst Street Fighter game in existence.

Ive heard the SF Movie game is ok for what it is. Its just tough to look at with the digitized characters and what not. More of a novelty at this point.
