Hi guys Not sure why I've waited so long to join a dedicated Sega Saturn forum, but better late than never hey! I didn't set out to collect Saturn games, but having bought my Japanese console in 1994 and never selling any of the games I owned (and played to death!) I've now got just short of 200 Japanese games, only missing around 5 or so that I'd still like to pick up. It's my favourite console of all time, but also have a bunch of Neo Geo AES, Japanese Megadrive and Japanese Xbox 360 games too, as well as 6 arcade cabinets in my garage including Out Run Aside from that, I'm gonna be 40 years old in 3 weeks :-O and I've worked in the UK videogames industry for about 18 years (retail / marketing - not dev). Currently residing in lovely Basingstoke, but originally from good old West Yorkshire. Nice to meet you all - maybe I already know a few of you from other forums I've frequented over the years. Jonathan

Greetings, Your just up the road from me, Southampton. I'm an old git as well rolling in at 46. Very cool you have an OutRun arcade machine! The real OutRun 1986 arcade machine is wicked, just as I have so much crap such as computers to consoles from the 1980's to the present day I've made do with the Saturn version of OutRun. On the plus side if the machine or screen dies they can be replaced a lot easier but yeah, very cool and always will be to see the real iron. Sticking with OutRun... I used to be known as the man for OutRun2, OutRun2SP, OutRun2006 & OutRun Online Arcade on XBOX,PS2 & XBOX360 - back when the games were current. If you ever had the pleasure I was that bastard on top of all the OutRun Mode leader boards.

Greeting Jonathan. Welcome to the forums. I'm envious of what's in your garage. Please tell me 2 of the 6 arcade cabinets are Wrestlefest and Moonwalker? Anyway, I hope you stick around and I look forward to reading more posts from you. Just started a thread on '5 Most memorable games of 2016' It'll be interesting to know your feedback on this since you have 200 plus games. segasaturngroup.proboards.com/thread/9915/most-memorable-saturn-games-2016

I have a bunch of jamma boards, my personal favourites being Final Fight, Golden Axe, Wonderboy and a Thunderforce AC board Love them all though

Hah - welcome to come and try and get a score on my Outrun cab - if Twin Galaxies is anything to go by, I'd be in the top 3 lol. It's been modded with the enhanced roms so high score saving is enabled.
