It's only my opinion, but I found it so very boring and uninspired. I wasn't expecting MarioKart but, at the very least, Street Racer would've been ok.
To be fair, I played it back to back with PS4 Dirt Rally, so I suppose I didn't have the right eyes on.

It's not Project Cars, but it's definitely worth a look.

I have all three games and the only one worth even a minute of your time is Drift King '97.
Choro Q Park is a complete waste of a CD, IMO. A racing game in name only.
Touge-King the Spirits (1 and 2, or High Velocity) are okay-ish, but don't hold the attention long.
Drift King '97 is a fantastic game when you suss out what's actually going on. I believe it's a predecessor to Dreamcast Tokyo Highway Challenge (Battle). I've put hours into this game. Fair enough, the visuals can be a bit rough and the laptimes seem to last forever, but you can get very much into this game, trying to catch opponents.

Hi!
What a fantastic video. Are you using a pro crt monitor, or emulator? That's a better picture than I've had in my life.
Please make more vids, whatever method you're using.

With respect, how can you say 'definitely the best out of the three' without having played all of them?

I played both recently and I honestly prefer the JP version. GT-R.
Somehow it seems brighter, smoother and handles better. Fair enough, there's different vehicles on offer in both but I like the Nissan for their performance.
Thoughts?

It's fine. My model 2 JP machine is fine with any game, any region, thru PS. It's my model 1 JP Saturn that's not liking it.
Regular JP games work perfectly in it. As intended.

Pandemonium would be my choice. Password HARDBODY & VITAMINS What do those passwords enable? I played Klonoa (EBOOT on my psp) a few weeks ago. It's much better looking than Pandemonium but very similar.

Bleh! It's my new jp model 1 machine that doesn't like legit PAL games with Pseudo Saturn cart. My old JP model 2 machine is fine with them.
Panic over..

Layer Section 2 All day long. (sorry Marc).
I adore LS2 and have played it for years without getting bored with it.

Pandemonium (Magical Hoppers) for me too.
My son and I have put a lot of time into all 3 in the last 5 years but mostly come back to Pandemonium. The original Bug! game mind not the 2nd one. Using the B.A.B.Y.S.E.A.L.S cheat opened it up. Clockwork Knight we completed and quickly forgot, though it gets played now and again in here just for the musical opening on CK2.
But Pandemonium gets the most play here. We use the 'ALMABHOL' password for level select and 31 lives and play the favored levels for time-based personal scores.
I think the gfx have stood the test of time pretty well.

I only flashed my AR cart with PS to play the games I'm never going to spend crazy amounts of cash on. Like Taromaru and Silvergun.
I've avoided playing dodgy Saturn cds for years though I've downloaded virtually every Dreamcast and PS1 game. I always told myself I'd leave the Saturn alone.
Anyway, after buying a stack of PAL games this week my Pseudo Saturn cart shows an error on my JP machine every time now. I could kick myself for flashing my AR cart.
Is there a way around this without buying more hardware? I'm not wanting to download the cheaper stuff but it looks like I may have to.

I recently snapped up Exhumed, Duke 3d, Blam Machinehead and Tunnel B1 (PAL) to fill holes in my very small UK collection.
I haven't looked at ebay pal prices for ages and I must say I was disheartened.
I'm kind of at the stage where I'd have to spend big money to get the JP versions of stuff I want.

How did you get the music to play?
A few of my burned games only emit a loud hiss instead of bgm. Strangely the sound effects are present though.
Metal Slug and Donpatchi are the worst culprits. This is with Pseudo Saturn .0832 also.
