I don't know and thanks Spanish adam. I have a real problem with the Japanese releases. I don't speak the language. The PAL is a better option for me.

Well the Saturn in my opinion is the best system ever launched. The NA and PAL systems could not keep up with the Japanese releases. There are so many games that came with the Japanese system. It is basically 5 to 1. If you want volume go with the Japanese system. They are pretty inexpensive. However some of the games, you need to read Japanese. Its a horse shoot. Pal or NA releases can be very pricey. It depends on what you want.

Cant help you with retro gaming to modern TV's. I myself have a 15 year old Sony WEGA that I run all my older systems on. I am dreading the day when it craps out and I will have to buy a new TV and be in the same boat you are in. There are a lot of brilliant people on here that can answer your questions. I responded because I was curious of what you bought? There are a lot of used and refurbished Sega Saturn systems out there. I have only owned two Sega Saturn systems in my life. The one I bought in the 90's when it first came out. My friend and I ran that thing into the ground. In the early 2000's I bought a new older one in stock after the Dreamcast came out. I did get a good price. Someone will answer your question. You are among friends. I will be interested in the results because again that is my distant future. Welcome to SEGA SATURN UK mate.

Already have the pseudo Sega cart. That's how I play my PAL releases and the Japanese official release of Dragon Force 2. I just don't speak Japanese. I prefer authentic releases my friends. But this was never authentically released in English. Ill take it. It has no resale value but I am sure hours of fun.

There is only a Japanese official release. So I learn to read Japanese or buy a reproduction. I'll take the reproduction. Plus its so cheap who cares.

Fellow gamers, I have mentioned my frustration with trying to play Dragon Force 2 because the whole game is in Japanese. A seller in Puerto Rico just sold me a reproduction of the game translated into English. I know its not an actual Saturn release but I loved the first one so much I don't care. There are risks with reproductions. Bad graphics, game skips, ect. For $22 and free shipping ill risk it. He has one left if anyone is interested.

Yes the game was sealed. Everything was brand new. I know a used game goes for about twenty and a used controller for about thirty. It came with the original box as well. That's why I spent the money. I didn't get a deal by no means but I feel it was somewhat fair.

To both of you contributors, you make very good statements. I bought nights on EBAY for $140. The seller had two for sale, a new and used one. The new one he wanted $250 for it. I got it in and I think he sold me the new one at the used price. It did come with the controller and the original box. From what I understand Nights was suppose to be a fill in for not having a sonic game off the bat. If I am wrong please correct me. The 3D controller is really great. Most of my top end games I purchased 25 years ago but buying them now, I agree you should try to get the harder to find titles first. Thanks guys.

I love the role playing games that came out for the Saturn. I have most of them. Wish I had Panzer Dragoon Saga, especially what its going for. In regard to the Dreamcast I skipped over it and went to the game cube back in the day. For me the Dreamcast is an unknown system, which is why I started looking at it.

Friends, I never got into the Dreamcast. I thought recently of purchasing one. SEGA in some peoples eyes had two failed systems which why they ended their console run in the early 2000's. Where someone sees a failure I see as the best system ever launched in regards to the Saturn. The Dreamcast I don't know about. I ran through the game list for this console. I cant find one title that interests me. What are your thoughts on this system?

These maybe came online today. Don't know. Talking with a guy in Europe with a PAL version. $307 US dollars plus shipping. I prefer PAL over JPN releases. Speaking of JPN releases does anyone want a copy of Dragon Force 2? I will send it you for free and cover the shipping. If no one wants it, garbage can time. I would prefer to give it away versus throwing it away. First come first serve.

What the hell, when I type in the game title into the EBAY search bar I only get two hits and they are both for $500. What am I doing wrong?

EBAY is the only place I can find it for sale. If you know where else to get it I would love to know. I cant add a hyperlink on this page but if you go on EBAY its $500. Thanks for responding.

Right on my friend. I was in a Video game store years back. There was a woman with her child bitching at the clerk. She said we sold all this stuff a year ago and now you want it back at triple the cost. I didn't say anything, I just laughed inside. I am a collector and if I traded a game it would be for mutual benefit. I have all the systems and wont part with anything without a good reason. The lady said one thing that always stuck with me. She said "you buy this stuff and then sell it, only to come back and buy it again" Great message. Keep your shit. Video game stores are a bunch of vultures. I will never do business with them. I will only deal with fellow gamers.
