I just wanted to say, I had another go on the Sega Master System emulator for the Saturn, and despite my previous complaints, was able to put up with some of the glitches and enjoy Sonic 2.....but was pretty chuffed to find only music glitches with Phantasy Star. Well...some of the characters covered up their first line of text in the text boxes, but beyond that, playing for the first 5mins I didn't discover any other graphical glitches, and it was amazing walking through the 3D FPS section at the start... =O.... So yeah, Phantasy Star emulated rather well on the Saturn, =). -_-...although you'll probably all tell me there's a Phantasy Star collection for Saturn or something now, =S. [Which I've just realised there is, although sounds like it was Japan-only, so I presume not in English] I'm really happy to hear a good comment about sms plus for saturn !!! I may release another version with a small use of 2nd cpu and a newer compiler. I can also put the original sound core (slower) as it sounds better.

This is looking very promising, how's the speed? on 50 hz console, 25fps with vsynch, 36-38fps without vsynch now 40-42fps with or without vsynch on a 50hz console

This is looking very promising, how's the speed? on 50 hz console, 25fps with vsynch, 36-38fps without vsynch on 60 hz console, same as emulator I guess so 30fps et 43 fps It's time to optimize source and use RAZE in assembler

Where can I get this on the link you provided in the first post? Final Burn Alpha is not yet released on Saturn, I don't know yet if I continue to try to optimise System 1 or if I move to Pang emulation.

Show me some GOOD, COMPLETE and ORIGINAL Saturn homebrew? There is no real complete and original saturn homebrew, police officer Smith had to be the first one with high res gfx and a nice story but there is just only a demo. To get more, it needed more support from people. If you check C4 entries, you'll see there was some original games but not finished, mainly due to lack of time.

And a lot of the stuff we've seen in recent times only runs via emulation not on real hardware Which homebrew doesn't run on real hardware ? About Saturn dev decline, there is the c4 2008-2009 waiting for results, I know there are really great games ported for this contest. Since this contest there was also at least Another World & Flashback released by Hkz.

That's impressive, has this been tested on real hardware? I've tested some FBA drivers on saturn but not all. I hope that number beside the Wonder Boy screenshot isn't a framerate count... I would cry with joy if this thing could play games like Mappy, which I imagine it would be able to. Yes it's the framerate of the game but SSF give something wrong, on real saturn i think it should be 25-30 and not 20. The Wonderboy driver (in fact Sega System 1 driver) is not yet optimized, i still have to replace C cpu core by raze in ASM. I hope I can reach at least 40-50 fps.
