This should be stickeyed, I think. Pull the AR cart out by 1 - 2mm and try again. Just lift one side, even and try it. I once binned an official cart that appeard to be dead, then I found out about this trick. It's the poor quality cart port that's to blame. Ok i pulled it out by a few millimeters and its still not working. I've also looked inside the slot, but is their an easy way to clean the points? I have some alcohol i normally use for other carts, but their generally alot easier to get to!

Hi i just bought a Action replay 4m plus from consolegoods.co.uk. Now i'm a bit concerened because when i put in a japanese game my saturn says it cannot recognize the disc! Also something else thats strange is the box displays the cart as having the serial connection on top of the cart, but the ACTUAL cart is missing this.
Is there some sort of code i have to put in to play other region games? Or did i order the wrong kind of action replay cart?

Hi guys, i was wondering if the backup memory worked as the default memory storage instead of using the on board, or if do you have to move it across manually?
Also how long do the internal batteries last because when ever ive bought saturn's in the past they always have a dead battery.
Thanks.

thanks guys, I'm clearing out space just to accommodate games now! Such a pain when your room is the size of a storage cupboard!

Hi guys, just wanted to introduce myself, i remember this site being around for a few years so i decided to join a couple of months ago. I've been reading on and off for a bit and have decided to finally post on here!
So yea i'm mostly a master system collector (and hang around sega8bit) and i have about 120 games, 3 consoles and a few accessorizes for it, but you know when you collect for something for so long and it starts getting a bit hard to find stuff or you get a bit bored with that platform? Well thats started to set in at the moment, i'm sure i'll come back to it some day, but the saturn has always interested me, as it was something i never had as a kid and i desperately wanted one! I have a few saturn donations over the years but i've sold them on numerous occasions, so this time i jumped on ebay and have had a spending spree on saturn stuff.
I've ordered:
- Model 1 Saturn (unboxed) - Nights into Dreams - Virtua Fighter 2 - Sega Rally - Panzer Dragoon 2 - Pro Pinball the web - Sonic R - Sonic Jam
I also just splashed out £30 for burning rangers and £8 for a 3D pad.
I think i have the enthusiasm to collect now! hehe
Anyway a bit of a long introduction rant but i just wanted to say hi and see how friendly the forum is!
