Well, that's a long time to keep the console on a shelf... 🤣

Yeah definitely still fun don't get me wrong, I loved HOTD Overkill and Dead Space Extraction on the Wii. I'm fortunate enough to still have a CRT and some Guncons though, those are amazing, responsive and no jitter at all you just wish everything could use them.

You know how a wiimote has that sort of lag to it, like it's not instant like a classic light gun is? Basically that. There's quite a bit of setup too but I suppose there's always going to be with emulation based options.
Those Retro Shooters seem a bit dodgy coming bundled with ROMZ but I like the look of their PC based hub, honestly I'd rather place IR sensors than dick around with the border like Sinden makes you do, though I wonder if they will fit on my TV as it's pretty thin and in an alcove with not much clearance. Do you know anyone that's reviewed it?

I bought a Sinden a while back, but didn't really get on with it, don't get me wrong it's pretty amazing what it does, but it feels more like a wiimote than a classic light gun to use.

Usually it's down to the tear strip isn't it? I mean that's how you tell on Nintendo etc. I've no interest in collecting sealed Saturn games either but nor have I interest in buying sealed games and opening them making it harder for those who are into that, even if I don't really get it lol.

Isn't there a way to tell a re-seal from a genuinely sealed game?

Then sell it and buy a non-sealed copy lol, or give it to me I'll have it and send you my non-sealed copy in exchange

Welcome! We need more people to keep forums alive, though something tells me inevitably Discord is going to do something bad to generate more revenue and who knows they might see a comeback. Custom covers are always fun in my opinion, in these days of inflated prices and chancers on ebay people should display your games however they damn well want Is the Arcade Racer really that good? I've always overlooked it tbh...

Development did start back in 2018 but so far no release. Saturn and Amiga are the ports I want to see the most.

There's also Satiator, that plugs into the VCD card port and allows you to basically keep the optical drive, you lose access to VideoCD enhancements in a handful of games though:- www.satiator.net/

Yeah I'm beta testing it, so far been very impressed. RT4k has better software for the moment from what I've seen but the gap is closing and the Morph also has wifi, USB and expansion port.
It isn't quite fair to say it's half the price of the RT4k, remember the base unit Morph only comes with HDMI in. The idea is you chain your existing scaler (e.g OSSC) into it for the most affordable solution. If you then want a more integrated solution, you simply plug in the analogue bridge with whatever analogue inputs you want. This is still cheaper than the RT4k too, by about $250 USD.
They've tried to design it to be the best value 4K solution for everyone, but it doesn't seem like there's much the RT4K can do that this can't, but for now we can only speculate for now how it grows and evolves.
Obviously I'm not unbiased since I'm testing and selling Morphs but I think you'll honestly have a great experience whichever one you choose.

I've had the Morph for a couple of weeks now and it's really really close, with 4k the shadowmask effects are much closer to a real CRT compared to even 1440p.

and I'd recommend going in person to see any set before putting down big monies.
