Hi,
Just recently bought my first Sega Saturn (jpn version) from second-hand online store here at Finland. It's the best console I have played - I also like Nintendo Wii an Gamecube. However, my first console I have played properly and owned is Sega Dreamcast.Of course its also about the game you play, but I need to say I like controls and output of Saturn best, Its sort of remain me of game play of classic arcade games, those I played while I was really young, kid.

Yes pekollik, that's why I love the Saturn so much too. It's controls are more simplified, and play like the old arcades which make it more of a fun console. I am currently making a full size Saturn arcade cabinet to be able to play Saturn's amazing library of games, arcade style. After making this Saturn mini arcade cabinet, I learned how special and fun the Saturn was for arcade style gameplay- Since you also like Dreamcast, here's a mini Dreamcast arcade cabinet I had also made- And here's some full size Dreamcast arcade cabinets I had made- I'm really looking forward to having the Saturn full size arcade cabinet when I complete it, because of all the great games the Saturn had, and their gameplay and controls will be a perfect fit for a dedicated Saturn arcade cabinet. I'll be sure to post it here when I get it finished.

Thanks Mick. Yeah, it's an absolute blast for playing all the incredible Dreamcast racing games- anywhere from SEGA Rally, to Daytona, to LeMans 24hrs to Metropolis Street Racer, etc, etc. You can see more better detail about it in my video @ 37:35 minute mark- www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBCYo9Kn1B0Since I am speaking with Admin... I am having problems uploading larger pictures of my custom SEGA cabs. I tried a few different options, but all you get to see is something like that postage-stamp representation of my Dreamcast racer cab. Any suggestions? Thanks again. -Dominic

It's the links your image host is providing, they're thumbnails linking to larger pics offsite. Maybe try another host such as photobucket that gives you forum friendly full image links

swankeymonkey Those cabinets you have built are wonderful! Even in the smaller cabinets you have managed to catch Sega cabinet feel and excitement with logo and characters on the side. I also have some long term goals to be able to construct and build something similar. Little bit of aside of arcade and games, in the hardware side of Sega Saturn there all kinds of interesting projects. Today, I learn this amazing project is happening at Patreon www.patreon.com/prof_abrasive for example . Pls share the progress of your project as It happens, glad to learn more and comment as it continues!
