I have heard that the PAL version of NFS doesn't have the best frame rate compared to the NTSC version, is this true?
Because the NTSC version is not an option for me, so I'm hoping the PAL version is solid in that regard..

The PAL version is perfectly fine if you set it to 60Hz

^^ This, PAL NFS is unoptimised so runs correctly at 60Hz

Can confirm from my early finding that Road & Track Presents: The Need for Speed, didn't appear to have any issues at 60Hz. EA rarely optimised their games for 50Hz, unless the developer for the title was European. randomisedgaming.tumblr.com/post/146372446412/the-complete-european-sega-saturn-60hz-guide-toIf you plan on playing the PAL version on an unmodded PAL console the game will be running at 50Hz and slower than the NTSC version at 60Hz. The Japanese version has a few different cars in it and was called Nissan Presents: Over Drivin' GT-R. If you're a big fan of the game I recommend picking up both versions.
